Album Description
Inspire is a regular Christian youth event that takes place in South Wales which was set up and is run by the Ignite initiative. This CD is hopefully the first in a series of CDs highlighting the young songwriting (and performing) talent that is growing and emerging from these hugely popular Inspire events. This collection of poweful contempory worhip songs stand shoulder to shoulder with any of the other leading new worship songs currently emerging from the church in the UK.
Album Reviews
This EP is designed to equip songwriters involved in worship leading in Wales and features five original songs of worship by some newer names on the scene. Undoubtedly, the standout tracks are the thundering opener “All” by Dai Hankey and Tim Bannister’s raw song of praise “Immanuel” – both of which refreshingly resist the urge to be formulaic. Elsewhere, Cath Woolridge makes an appearance with “How Great You Are” whilst Carina Galozzi-Hibbert and Andrew Mantle check in with “No Other Name” and “You’re My Healer” respectively. Although these other offerings don’t quite match the distinctive quality of “All” and “Immanuel”, they are worthy in their own right and highlight the fresh worship talent ministering within the Welsh churches – Cross Rhythms
